Chaalak Shakti is a forward looking and progressive union of drivers of all commercial vehicles such as autorickshaw, taxi, e-rickshaw, bus, truck, etc. including drivers operating under aggregator such as Ola and Uber.

Within 2022, we plan to open our membership to delivery executives of e-commerce firms.

We use an app called Yaanam to enrol, serve, and engage member-drivers. In due course, this app will also be used for holding internal elections of the union.

Instead of combating issues as they arise or as they exist, we look at the entire regulatory and working regime as it is, and then as it should be, and accordingly define and decide our work, objectives and strategy, unmindful of what is.

We are progressive, pro work, pro liberty, and we believe in the efficacy of market forces. Needless to say, while we do appear as a union on the face of it, in the back end, we take a professional approach and our work is backed by deep research and an acute understanding of the best practices in the world.
